McAllen Heritage Center

The McAllen Heritage Center, museum of our City's history, is located at 301 S. Main St. in the historic "La Placita" building which previously served as our city post office in downtown McAllen. The museum is open to the public with no admittance fee! Your membership will help provide a vibrant learning environment focusing on the history of our City and help us to maintain this endeavor successfully. Your donation of funds towards membership or your time as a volunteer will enable us to continue to develop into a first rate history museum.
