Attire is conservative. Please use good judgment in your appearance and dress as a business casual code will apply. Our visiting public and our benefactors may judge us by our appearance. To preserve good relations, confidence and pride in our Museum, all interns and volunteers are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. NOTIFICATION: Please call the museum at least one day in advance if you will be unable to work during a scheduled time or need to make a change in your work schedule. Thank you!
As consideration for being accepted to participate and assist in volunteer duties assigned to me at the MCAllen Heritage Center, Inc. (MHC) and associated activities, I hereby agree that I, and any of my assigns will not make a claim against, sue, attach the property of, or prosecute MHC, its officers, directors, agents and employees, for any injury, illness or disease, death, or damage to myself or to my property, resulting from the negligence or other acts, howsoever caused, by result of my participation in volunteer duties at MHC and related activities. In addition, I hereby agree to fully and completely indemnify and hold harmless MHC, its officers, directors, agents and employees, from any and all claims, damages, actions or demands I, my heirs, distributees, guardians, legal representatives or assigns now have or may hereafter have for injury or damage as previously described. I expressly agree that this release and waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, not withstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
